Father Hyde discerned the call to the priesthood while serving as the Director of University Ministries at Christ Church Episcopal, Tyler, Tx.

In 2022, Fr. Hyde graduated from Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin. Shortly after, he returned home to the East Texas area to serve as the Curate at Good Shepherd in Terrell.

Fr. Hyde is passionate about the theology of Robert Jenson, the tragedies of Sophocles, and long distance running. More than anything, however, he cherishes time spent gardening and traveling with his wife, Erin, and their children, Frankie and Archie.

Alex is a proud Terrell native who has called this community home for the past 20 years.

She graduated from Terrell High School and Trinity Valley Community College in 2022 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at East Texas A&M University.

When she’s not studying, Alex enjoys collecting vinyl records, staying active, and spending quality time with her fiancé, Brennan. She is excited to continue growing here in Terrell and looks forward to connecting with everyone!
